General instructions on installation (featuring an older version of the script) can be found at: http://www.pigsgourdsandwikis.com/2010/11/reading-library-ebooks-with-bluefire.html

I’ve been extremely pleased at recent updates to the Bluefire Reader iOS app, which allows DRM-ed EPUBS and PDFs from Overdrive to be read on the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.

I’ve been putting together tutorials for our staff/patrons (I hope to post them soon), and have been working on ways to simplify the process of opening/processing .acsm files on the iOS device (without having to email the file you yourself or sync through iTunes).

Last night, I came up with a *very* rough javascript bookmarklet. Liz Castro (HTML and EPUB guru) was kind enough to feature it on her blog.

I’m hoping to further refine the script, but as-is, it’s functional!
